Heinz Trox Foundation: Change in the Board of Directors of the Foundation

At the foundation council meeting on 23rd June, Christine Roßkothen was elected as a new member to the board of directors of the Heinz Trox-Foundation. She succeeds Frank Lübbering, who has vacated his seat for professional reasons after many years of service for the board of directors. Paul Schwarz was re-elected as chairman of the board of directors of the foundation for another term of four years. Prof. Dr. Stephan Schauhoff was also confirmed as deputy chairman of the foundation council.

Prof. Dr. Hans Fleisch, chairman of the foundation council of the Heinz Trox Foundation, thanked Frank Lübbering for his service: "With Frank Lübbering's departure, we are losing a valued member of the board of directors. We know that his dual role as member of the board and Head of Finance at TROX GmbH required tremendous personal commitment and energy and we completely understand his decision to resign from the board. We would like to thank him for his valuable work over the past few years!"

Christine Roßkothen joined TROX GmbH in 2002 and took over responsibility for the newly created Corporate Marketing department in 2006. She has led this department since then and is responsible for public relations, technical documentation, customer events and communication, trade fairs and the TROX ACADEMY. She manages a team of 19 employees.

"I grew up in Neukirchen-Vluyn, not far from the TROX company," said Roßkothen. "I have repeatedly witnessed first-hand the emphasis Heinz Trox has not only placed on the success of his company, but also on the people of the region. By establishing the foundation, he wanted to ensure that the revenues from TROX GmbH were used for the common good. I am delighted to be appointed to the board of directors of the foundation and to be given the chance to play a part in this work."

The Heinz Trox Foundation is an expression of the life's work of its founder, Heinz Trox. The object of the foundation is the advancement of scientific projects in the field of ventilation and air-conditioning technology and the support of social and cultural activities. The Heinz Trox Foundation is based in Neukirchen-Vluyn. It holds 94 percent of the shares in TROX GmbH.
